Introduction North Little Rock is a city in Pulaski County and is centrally
located with I-30, I-40, I-440 and U.S. 67/167 all converging into the
city. North Little Rock is a shopper’s paradise. The state’s largest
mall McCain Mall along with numerous smaller shopping centers are
locate at the McCain Boulevard exit off the interstate. Many other
shops are also coming up. In the planning stages is The Shoppes at
North Hills complex which will be anchored by a Bass Pro Shop. It also
has a number of antique malls that are scattered throughout town. If
you are a tourist in this city a must visit for you is the Old Mill, an
authentic reproduction of an old water-powered grist mill which has
become famous courtesy the opening scene of the classic movie, "Gone
with the Wind." The city’s parks are also quite popular. The best and
the most popular parks are Burns Park and North Shore River walk.
Burns Park is huge, covering more than 1,500 acres of land. It has
facilities for numerous sports while the River walk is a lighted
walkway and jogging and fitness trail running parallel to the Arkansas
River. In the summer Wild River Country is the place to beat the heat.
